Shambapro Farm Field Day
Shambapro Farm Field Day is a one day practical commercial farming training workshop.
It will take place on 13th February 2021 at Sunripe Farm in Bugesera District.
Participants are existing or potential small to medium scale commercial farmers, agriculture sector players in the public and NGO sector.
Participants will be trained about commercial production of Sweet Peppers, French beans, Habanero Chilies, tomatoes and other vegetables as well Egg and Diary production.
They will also explore agriculture technologies like Greenhouse Farming, Drip Irrigation, and Small-Scale Mechanization.
An Agriculture expert will give a brief on Export Farming and Contract Farming and a technical hand out to take home for review.
After the field day, interested participants will be linked to experts to help them establish or improve their farm businesses.
